Some people view the 1% as demonic supervillains, while others idolise them as inspiring superheroes. In this video I make a case for why we should see them as neither, and why we should cast them as tragic figures.
In doing this I’m echoing Bob Marley’s famous quip that some people are so poor, all they have is money, but I’m well aware that it’s a difficult and ambiguous argument, so I’d love to hear your feedback in the comments!
